At a regular meeting on May 7, 2019, the Encinitas Union School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved Andrée Grey as Superintendent, with an effective date of July 1, 2019.
Ms. Grey has a distinguished career in school leadership. For the past 3 years, Ms. Grey has successfully served as the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services in our District. Prior to EUSD, Ms. Grey served as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment for the Temecula Valley Unified School District for five years. Previously, she held principal, vice principal, and teaching positions in the Temecula Valley and Dehesa School Districts. She is graduating from the University of California, San Diego with her doctorate in Educational Leadership in June.
Andrée shared the following statement: “I am honored to be selected to serve the students, teachers, staff, and families of the Encinitas Union School District as the next Superintendent. I look forward to building upon the great work in Encinitas around innovation and teaching the whole child. Our EUSD community is extraordinary. Together, we are poised to create new and exciting learning opportunities for all students.”
