Throughout the 2017-18 school year, Mission Estancia and EUSD have taken steps to enhance school safety protocols and procedures. The campus structure and safety procedures were professionally evaluated and campus staff have undergone training on what to do in various emergencies.
The next step in campus safety planning and improvement is to have a Parent Information Session, which will be scheduled during the week of June 4. Principal McColl is working with the Carlsbad Sheriff’s Department to schedule this session and parents will be informed as soon as possible of the date and time.
