This year the Mission Estancia PTA is changing the way we collect photos for our annual Mission Estancia yearbook. While we will continue to use Pictavo software for the creation of our yearbook, we will now be using Dropbox to collect photos from parents throughout the year. The PTA has paid for a Dropbox business account, which gives us the ability to collect, organize and safely store an unlimited number of photos each year.
Throughout the year we will be sending file requests with unique links, which will enable you to upload photos directly to the appropriate yearbook folder within Dropbox. You will receive these unique links via the Wildcat Weekly and via emails from your room parents. You can now go to the ME PTA website and under the Parent Resources tab click on “Yearbook Photo Uploads” at any time to view the links and upload photos.
File requests can be opened on your desktop computer or from your smartphone, which allows you to choose which photo library you would like to access. File requests also contain deadlines, which can been seen at the top of the page once you click on the link. Please note the deadline and make sure you’ve uploaded all of your photos by that date in order for them to be considered for the yearbook.
Because the privacy and security of the photos we collect is of the utmost importance to us, we have selected a solution which gives everyone in the community the ability to upload photos without being able to view or download the photos in the folder. Only three people at Mission Estancia have the ability to view and download photos that are uploaded to Dropbox – 2 PTA Yearbook Chairs and 1 PTA Executive Vice President.
By uploading photos to Dropbox, you are giving us permission to use your photos in the Mission Estancia yearbook as well as other ME PTA materials.
Please add your photos to the following links. The deadline for uploading photos from these events is Monday, January 7th at 5:00pm.
We appreciate your help in making Mission Estancia’s yearbook the best it can be!
